Inside Holly Willoughby’s plans for big This Morning shake-up after controversy

Presenter Holly Willoughby has returned to ITV’s This Morning after her long summer break and she plans on shaking the programme up following the departure of Phillip Schofield

Holly Willoughby’s plans for a big This Morning shake-up have been revealed following her return.

The TV presenter has come back to the ITV show after a long summer break and it looks as if she is raring to go as she plans to make multiple changes. This comes after the 42-year-old’s former co-host Phillip Schofield stepped down from This Morning following rumours of a feud between him and Holly. He later quit all roles at ITV after he admitted he had an affair with a younger colleague while working on the show.

Despite him insisting Holly was unaware of the situation, she was still caught up in the cross fire. Since then there has been a shake-up on the show meaning that Holly is the main host and is joined by multiple co-hosts throughout the week including Josie Gibson, Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary and Craig Doyle.

A source told heat magazine: “As well as spending a lot of time planning the refreshed show this summer, Holly has been in contact with the new line-up of co-hosts. She wants the show to move away from the spotlight on one presenter, to a more diverse array of talent right.
