Dear Coleen,

How can I deal with my over-competitive sister-in-law? She’s been married to my younger brother for 15 years and they have two children, who are adorable.

Everything is a competition with her and she’s the most selfish person I’ve ever come across.

She expects me and my family to drop everything to visit them and celebrate their birthdays and special occasions, yet is always “too busy” to come to anything I organise.
