Mirror agony aunt Coleen Nolan advises a woman who is fed up of her ex-husband constantly showing up, but doesn’t want to upset their two children – how does she move on?
I’m a woman in my forties and quite newly divorced from my husband of 15 years. It was a pretty amicable separation â we have two kids together, so decided early on that we’d put their wellbeing first and, so far, it’s been OK.
Since we separated he admitted to me that he was going through a midlife crisis, which led to him making some bad decisions in terms of our relationship.
He realises now he was a nightmare to live with and wants to do everything he can for the family.
He also says he still loves me and he’s more considerate now than he ever was when we were still together.
