SINGLE mum Rafaella Borba had to find new ways to get by when her daughter Maria was born, and it made her scout out options to save.
The Brazil native, who moved to London in 2019 and now lives in Cambridgeshire, saves more than £1,700 a year on clothes and food.
She told The Sun her attitude towards money really changed when her daughter was born in January 2020.
Keen to provide for her baby, even though she couldn’t work full time, she started to offer her marketing skills to small businesses in her local area as well as the Brazilian community in London.
The now 34-year-old said: “I was on my own with my girl, having left my family and having an ex-husband. It was scary.
