 I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star Iain Lee revealed his efforts to his family on their dream holiday in a recent candid tweet. The 50-year-old former broadcaster shared the emotional update at 5am on Wednesday morning and admitted it had reduced him to tears. He detailed the lengths to which he went to in order to treat his two boys – who he shares with his ex-wife Helena Wilkinson – to a 'holiday of a lifetime' on the social media app. He penned a message to fans outlining his achievement for children and said: 'I have taken my boys on a holiday of a lifetime. It's taken 2 years of saving, selling my Monkees collection, furniture, guitars, going without and I made it happen. 'I'm now in a coffee shop on my own and I can't stop crying because I did it. Absolutely skint but I f***ing did it [sic].' He continued adding to his thread: 'Never knew what the phrase holiday of a lifetime meant I til this week. The broadcaster announced his retirement from radio earlier this year (Picture: WireImage) 'Anyway, here I am trapped in a vampire's wine glass. So, you know, swings and roundabouts [sic].' Alongside the note, he posed for an adorable picture crouching inside a wine glass hinting at where he had whisked his kids away to. Iain's holiday announcement came after he revealed he was retiring earlier on this year from his broadcasting duties. The star shared that he was taking a step back from the world of media after 30 years to focus on becoming a counsellor.
