I’m a Celebrity cast dealt blow in Australia as ITV ditch major luxury

I’m a Celebrity campmates and their families reportedly won’t be staying at the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Australia this year, despite the hotel having been used by the ITV show for over a decade

I’m a Celebrity campmates reportedly won’t be staying at the usual Palazzo Versace Hotel in Australia this year, with ITV instead said to have opted for other accommodation.

Campmates and their families are understood to have stayed at the luxurious Palazzo Versace Hotel for almost two decades. It has become recognisable to viewers.

ITV however is said to have ditched the hotel in favour of the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa this year. Both hotels are in Queensland and are located near each other.

It’s been claimed that the move means it could cost less to accommodate the cast of the upcoming series. It comes ahead of the new series launching in just over a week.
