The venue opened its doors just last year before the blockbuster show spent its second year at a castle in Wales amid Covid restrictions. Adults using the attraction were charged £30 per session, while children aged eight to 17 cost £27.50 a pop. But bosses decided it was time to close up shop, disappointing fans hoping to get a taste of the jungle before the show returns next week. The attraction's demise comes after it was revealed yesterday that former Health Secretary Matt Hancock has landed a £400,000 paycheck to appear on the show. The news has angered some fans after the politician is set to receive one of the largest fees ever. Mr Hancock will be joined in the Australian outback by reality star Olivia Attwood and Boy George, who is said to be netting a £500,000 payday. The show will also see first ever royal appearance, as King Charles' niece Zara Phillips will watch her rugby star hubby Mike Tindall tackle the bucktucker trials.
