And that a tyre's grade for grip and traction should be A or above. She said: "Never choose B grade tyres or there will be a risk of a blow-out." She informed that the speed rating on the tyre dictated how fast the car could travel without a risk of a blow-out. She gave the example of a H rating which meant a car could travel up to 210 km per hour. She said: "If you exceed this speed you risk a blow-out."
