Iggy Azalea asked Judge Herriford to give Tory Lanez a prison sentence which wasn’t ‘life destroying’ after he was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion
Iggy Azalea has been forced to speak out after she was criticised for writing a letter of support for Tory Lanez over the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
In December of 2022, Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan in both feet during an altercation in July 2020. He has now been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the incident.
During a court hearing in Los Angeles, Judge Herriford briefly spoke about the letters he had received supporting Lanez. One of the letters was written by Iggy. She had asked for Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson to be given a sentence “that is transformational, not life-destroying.”
The Black Widow hitmaker has since taken to Twitter to clarify her letter. She told fans she has “not been in touch with tory for months”, but said she does “wish him well”.
