‘I won $1million playing lottery and only buy same tickets a couple of times a month’

Crystal won big playing her own tactics with a $20 Monopoly 200X Scratch ticket bought at a store in Aurora and sshe plans to use the money to move closer to her sister

One lucky lottery winner bagged a $1million prize after playing the same tickets a couple of times a month.

Denver resident Crystal G, has already put her winnings to good use and has put an offer down on a house in Colorado Springs closer to her sister. The 54-year-old software engineer usually plays scratch games a couple of times a month but her previous biggest win was $200.

She and her family had always said that if they ever had the money, they’d buy a house so they could all live together. Crystal said: “We are getting the band back together!”

When Crystal scratched off the top prize on the ticket, she said she was “calm but shocked.” She managed to keep her cool until she told her kids and when she started telling people the reality set in . When she told her niece in Ohio, she said: “Are you pranking me? Is this real!?” Crystal told them, “No, I have this in my hand; I think this is real!”
