I tested a robot vacuum you can pick up for just £100

Spoiler alert: The bargain Vactidy Nimble T6 is really rather good

Robot vacuum cleaners are for posh people with big, expensive houses, right? They cost hundreds of pounds, right? Wrong on both counts, it seems.

Household electronics brand Vactidy has launched a new compact robot vacuum which we’ve found priced as low as £100. That’s even cheaper than a half-decent upright vacuum. And this does the job for you.

It’s the Vactidy Nimble T6, and it’s by no means a cheap and nasty product. Out of the box there’s a quality feel straight away, and it has all the bells and whistles of a robot vacuum costing four or five times more.

It has three levels of suction power, all the way up to 2,000pa, two spinning brushes to gather particles from the nooks and crannies, and it can take itself home to its base to charge, using on-board sensors. It even has a handheld remote control.
