She was pretty upset about having to wear her school uniform over the weekend, and she got even more upset when I did not take her home right away after her detention." The mum went on to explain how she had to run errands after collecting her daughter from school - and purposely didn't bring her a change of clothes. "She asked me to bring her a change of clothes for after detention, but I said no, as that would be letting her off easy," she added. "Wearing her uniform on a Saturday is part of her Saturday detention, which she got for having too many uniform infractions. She was upset about having to walk into different stores with me in her uniform, and asked to stay in the car, but I didn't allow that, I expected her to help me with my errands like she would do on any other Saturday." The mum wouldn't allow the teenager to "modify" the uniform by untucking her shirt or undoing her top button, instead telling her to "wear it like she would at school". She said: "She was pretty embarrassed while running errands and she got some strange looks from people. I ran into some friends throughout the day, too, and some of them said that it was a good idea to make her wear her uniform, while others said I was being too harsh."
