A man who does said he does not believe in anything supernatural has admitted he was creeped out yet excited while exploring a hidden New York mansion. Dan Pimental is an urban explorer who has made it a hobby to go into historic places that have long been abandoned and has confessed to travelling to over 22 US states in order to investigate forgotten places and post them on Instagram . In an interview with Newsweek , Dan said: ‘I really enjoy the photography of the decay, it reminds you that there is a reason for the place being abandoned and it’s likely tragic.’ However, Dan has also found some very bizarre locations in his time exploring, such as finding a creepy room filled with dozens of old-fashioned lamps while exploring a mansion. Dan entered an Edwardian mansion located in the southeast corner of New York City. After doing some research, he believes the original owner passed away in 1927, and that the mansion has only been lived in one other time before apparently being abandoned.
