Larry Gilmore is in a critical condition after being attacked by a homeless man inside his hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when he was on his honeymoon just days after his wedding
A man is fighting for his life in the hospital after a brutal attack on his honeymoon in a hotel lobby by a homeless man.
Larry Gilmore, 29, and his new wife Shalawrae, 26, had just tied the knot on July 23 and were looking forward to celebrating their love on a romantic getaway in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The couple had checked into the Even Hotel, hoping to have a memorable honeymoon. Larry Gilmore was waiting for an elevator in the hotel’s lobby when he was brutally attacked from behind by a homeless man identified as Heiko Calhoun, 26.
Security camera footage captured the incident, showing Calhoun approaching Larry and putting him in a chokehold before violently dragging him to the ground. He proceeded to repeatedly bang his head against the floor and then brutally kicked and stomped on his face and back while he was lying motionless.
