Tasha Royle has urged people to be aware when visiting the beauty spots, saying: "You get so excited to go to the beach, it was the first time we took the babies to the beach and my kids ran straight up to them. There were loads, the closer to the sea you got smaller ones were everywhere. "They look like aliens, the white ones were see-through and had bobbly eyes. With the weather getting nice it's worth people keeping an eye out. I was warning people on our way back as well, more people will be going the beach in the summer." Posting the images on social media, showing two large jellyfish, dozens of comments came pouring in. One person said: "The red ones are very dangerous to dogs and humans if touched, please keep dogs and children away from them", writes the Liverpool Echo. Another added: "One on left is Lions Mane jellyfish. The name becomes more obvious when they are swimming. They are beautiful creatures, fascinating and graceful in water, but a bit of a hazard for swimmers and dogs. Even when beached. Certain tides of the year always brings these creatures on shore." A third wrote: "We where down there a few weeks back. We was on the beach and in the water. We didn't see any but then next minute they just floated and appeared on top of the water. They where massive." It comes after numerous sightings of large jellyfish washing up on Merseyside's coastlines, sparking warnings from worried visitors.
