Huge ‘alien-like’ creatures with ‘bobbly eyes’ wash up on UK beach as parents warned

One mother told how she was visiting a New Brighton beach with her children when she saw what appeared to be an “alien-like” creature on the sand near where her kids were playing

A warning has been issued to parents ahead of the school summer holidays after enormous jellyfish washed up on a UK beach.

A mother told how she was visiting a New Brighton beach, Merseyside, with her children when she saw what appeared to be an “alien-like” creature on the sand.

Tasha Royle has urged people to be aware when visiting the beauty spots, saying: “You get so excited to go to the beach, it was the first time we took the babies to the beach and my kids ran straight up to them. There were loads, the closer to the sea you got smaller ones were everywhere.

“They look like aliens, the white ones were see-through and had bobbly eyes. With the weather getting nice it’s worth people keeping an eye out. I was warning people on our way back as well, more people will be going the beach in the summer.”
