PUTIN’S torturous thugs are electrocuting and suffocating political prisoners with plastic bags in a brutal crackdown on critics, a Russian dissident revealed.
Sergei Davidis, 54, who works at Memorial, Russia’s oldest human rights organisation, told The Sun that life for activists and freedom fighters has become much more dangerous.
Memorial – which tracks the numbers of political prisoners in Russia – was run for decades until a Moscow court ordered it to shut down in December last year.
It faced trumped up allegations of terrorism amid a brutal crackdown from the Kremlin after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
In that same year, the organisation won a Nobel Peace Prize for their heroic efforts to support Russian political prisoners.
