This means any toys, gifts or clothes bought in the theme parks can be redeemed against tax and the money saved will be sent straight to your bank account. Disney fanatics have been sharing their experiences of the app and how much they've saved on a closed Facebook group for Brits. Deeanne Banks from Plymouth visited the resort with her husband and two children in August this year and managed to claim back nearly £60 with the app. She said: "I heard about SkipTax through a Disney group on Facebook I joined to get tips and advice before our trip. 'It was straightforward once you sign up to the app. It asks what days you are staying in France , and it gives you a countdown to when you need to finalise all your receipts. "When uploading your receipts onto the app, you just take a screenshot, and it tallies up for you and calculates how much tax you will get back. "We spent around €500 on souvenirs and are due to get £57 back, which we're happy with. "It was very easy to use, and we would use it again.' Guests who download the app can set up an account and use it to scan any shopping receipts. The app then allows you to scan a barcode at the airport, train station or ferry terminal and the money is usually back in your account by the time you arrive home.
