The four-year-old colt has won just once, on his debut as a juvenile. But the next year he finished second in the Group 3 Prix de Guiche and third in the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) behind St Mark's Basilica, who went on to win the Coral-Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes.
