 Hollyoaks has once again hinted at a potential romance for Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis), with the two growing closer next week. Fans have long wondered about a connection between the two characters, after they were paired together in the latest opening titles, which appeared to tease a romance between the two, with Lucas catching Dillon's eye at the bus stop. Lucas, meanwhile, was recently recast, with Oscar Curtis taking over the role, with Metro.co.uk understanding that the intention is for the character to feature in more adult storylines. Hollyoaks boss Lucy Allan also hinted at the romance in question when speaking to Inside Soap, telling the publication that Lucas, now 16, will be 'grappling' with his sexuality. 'Lucas is getting to the age where he is difficult to manage, and he's grappling with his sexuality,' she told the publication. 'There's also a new teen coming into the show in the form of Misbah's nephew, Dylan.'
