The influencer, who is used to holding all the power, was left scrambling to save her career after Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell) leaked a video of her online, which confirmed that she staged a fight to increase her follower count. Peri's actions came after months of trying to prove that Rayne is a self-obsessed liar who will do just about anything to isolate Romeo from his loved ones. Rayne later blackmailed the nurse with an incriminating video of her paying off a dealer for Donna-Marie, which prompted Peri to fight fire with fire. In the aftermath of Peri's video going viral, Rayne posted an apology video on her platforms, hoping to win back the trust of the followers she'd lost over the incident. Faye (Madelyn Smedley), the influencer manager who had agreed to represent Rayne just prior to the video incident, was quick to offer advice, urging Rayne to stage a comeback 'bigger than Beyonce'. Romeo came up with an idea to assist, suggesting that he and Rayne throw the party to end all parties at a lavish hotel, which would no doubt catch the eye of Love Cave producers.
