In previous years, she and former co-star Phillip Schofield, who has since quit the broadcaster, would announce an on-air farewell before taking their scheduled break. However this year, Holly opted for a quiet exit. Instead of the usual fanfare, she made a low-key exit to sunny Portugal and according to reports, it was a direct result of the Phillip scandal that engulfed This Morning earlier this year. As mum to 14-year-old son Harry, 12-year-old daughter Belle, and eight-year-old son Chester, whom she shares with her husband Daniel Baldwin, she is reportedly looking to focus her time as being a "full-time mum" over the next few weeks whilst she is away from the cameras. What's more, sources say she is using the family break as a chance to 'take stock of her career' and 'assess her next move in television'. "She appreciates her family more than ever right now… the last couple of months have been really stressful and it's highlighted for her the importance of family," an insider told new! magazine. "She will be thinking about the future and making sure her family is priority." Phillip Schofield stepped down from ITV earlier this year after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague, which sparked speculation about Holly's future career.
