Hilary Duff blasts ‘disgusting’ publisher over Aaron Carter’s unfinished memoirs

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter’s own management team have blasted publisher Ballast Books over the decision to release the late singer’s unfinished memoirs.

The former Lizzie McGuire star has condemned the company for what she has described as ‘unverified click-bait for profit’ following her fellow Disney alum and ex-boyfriend’s death aged 34 on November 5.

In a statement to E! News, she said: ‘It’s really sad that within a week of Aaron’s death, there’s a publisher that seems to be recklessly pushing a book out to capitalise on this tragedy without taking appropriate time or care to fact check the validity of his work.

‘To water down Aaron’s life story to what seems to be unverified click-bait for profit is disgusting.
