DEAN HENDERSON’s return to Old Trafford return ended in first-half injury heartache.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper made his first visit to the Theatre of Dreams since his summer move to Crystal Palace in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup third-round clash.
Henderson, 26, would’ve no doubt hoped to have turned in a stellar performance to show Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag what he’s missing out on.
But the England keeper – who was booed by some of the Old Trafford faithful – ended up hobbling off the pitch in the 19th minute through injury.
The stopper appeared to tweak his right leg when he thumped the ball up the field.
