 It's been an emotional weekend for Helen Skelton who signed off from a job for the very last time. The 2022 Strictly Come Dancing finalist, 40, has been hosting her own Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 5 Live for the past year. However, she's already decided to wave goodbye in order to spend more time with her small children. Keeping it real, Helen explained that she was struggling to juggle the gig alongside her other presenting work and looking after three kids as a single mum, following her split from Richie Myler last April. Speaking to her co-host Lloyd Griffith, she said today: 'You're emotional because I'm leaving.' 'I am,' Lloyd confessed. (Picture: Farrell/Backgrid) Helen was then asked how she felt about moving on from the show and she struggled to hold it together. As her voice cracked, she shared: 'I am not alright about it but, you know, needs must. The juggle is real. 'There is an eight-year-old with a sideline who needs me.' As the two-hour show came to an end, Helen couldn't help but get emotional once again as she expressed her gratitude to her listeners. 'I've loved every minute of the past year,' she said sweetly. 'Thank you to all the team and thank you to all of you.
