Manchester United are desperate for a positive result against struggling Burnley on Saturday, but legendary former boss Harry Redknapp has sent a warning to Erik ten Hag
Legendary Premier League manager Harry Redknapp believes Manchester United will be plunged further into crisis at Burnley on Saturday.
The Red Devils have lost three of their opening five top-flight games and slipped to a 4-3 defeat at Bayern Munich on Wednesday. That scoreline flattered United somewhat, though they appear to have an easier test ahead of them with a trip to the struggling Clarets.
Boss Erik ten Hag will be desperate for a positive result at Turf Moor as he battles dressing room bust-ups and a mountain of injuries. But Redknapp believes that Ten Hag’s headaches will only worsen after the Saturday evening clash.
The former Portsmouth boss believes United will only be able to manage a 2-2 draw against the team second-bottom of the table. While Redknapp lauded summer signing Rasmus Hojlund, he does not have confidence in the rest of Ten Hag’s side.
