THE BIG DEBATE: As speculation continues to rumble regarding Harry Kane’s Tottenham future, Mirror Football have taken a look at the England skipper’s options this summer
The saga surrounding Harry Kane’s Tottneham future took a potentially decisive twist over the weekend.
Mirror Football understands that Spurs owner Joe Lewis – frustrated by the current impasse – has told Daniel Levy to either get Kane to sign a new deal, or sell him this summer. It’s the first time that there has been any inclination that the Premier League club could actually sell their talisman, regardless of the fact his contract has just 12 months left.
Bayern Munich are believed to be preparing a new bid for the 29-year-old, while links with Manchester United remain strong. But what should Kane do this summer? Make the move to United or Bayern, sign a new deal with Spurs, or run his contract down and leave on a free in 12 months’ time?
We asked our Mirror Football team what they think.
