Harry Kane transfer: Rejected offer broken down as Bayern Munich refuse to give up on deal

Bayern Munich have seen a third bid for England captain Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham, but the Bundesliga champions remain keen to sign the striker, despite Daniel Levy’s reluctance to sell

Bayern Munich are refusing to give up on £100million striker Harry Kane despite embarrassingly having their bluff called by Daniel Levy.

The German giants issued a bizarre, midnight deadline for Spurs to accept their third bid, an £86million, take-it-or-leave it offer, last Friday. But Spurs chairman Levy dismissed the ultimatum and instead flew to the United States.

Talks are now ongoing between the two clubs with Bayern desperate to save face over their chase for their no.1 target. Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic has emerged as a potential alternative for the Bundesliga champions but Tuchel remains focused on England’s record goalscorer.

It is believed the guaranteed portion – understood to be around £73million, of Bayern’s offer, has been deemed not enough for Spurs’ liking.
