The forward was whisked straight into his debut for his new club in the German Super Cup on Saturday night, but Bayern slipped to a 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena
Harry Kane says he currently only knows one German word, but has vowed to get up to speed with his new surroundings following his whirlwind transfer to Bayern Munich.
The England captain was announced as Bayern’s new No.9 at 9am UK time on Saturday morning, and just over 12 hours later he was coming off the bench in the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena.
The game didn’t go to plan for Bayern though, and shortly after Kane’s arrival they conceded a penalty which Leipzig’s Dani Olmo converted to complete his hat-trick and put his side 3-0 up, which is how the game finished.
Shortly after the penalty videos of Kane went viral on social media, as he appeared to want to remonstrate with referee Bastian Dankert over the award, only to find himself unable to say anything.
