A trio of England men’s stars have shot a video message giving their female counterparts a huge lift on the eve of their game against Haiti in Australia this weekend
Harry Kane has wished the Lionesses luck as they prepare for their opening game in the Women’s World Cup.
The men’s England captain was joined by team-mates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jack Grealish in a video message giving them a boost on the eve of their game against Haiti in Australia tomorrow.
Ahead of the match at the Suncorp stadium in Brisbane, defender Lucy Bronze said she had been in contact with Harry, who urged the team to add a World Cup win to last year’s Euros triumph.
In a video sent to the Lionesses’ camp, Harry said: “Best of luck for this summer’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. I know you’ve been working really hard for this. Obviously you’re European champions but let’s go one step further and get world champions.
