Harry and Meghan to snub Christmas invite – relations at ‘rock bottom’

Prince Harry is set to snub an invitation from King Charles III to spend Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham following the emergence of fresh details regarding his memoir, it has been claimed. The relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the rest of his family in the UK is at “near rock bottom”, sources claimed, shattering hopes the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the time of mourning the Sussexes spent with Firm members would spark a “thawing of relations” between the royals.The sources claimed Meghan and Harry have “no plans” to join the Royal Family on the first Christmas without the late Queen.This comes after Penguin Random House announced the title and release date of Prince Harry’s much-anticipated memoir.The title “Spare”, to be published on January 10, “completely caught by surprise” the royals, one source claimed.Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the source added: “This book could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family, it is desperately sad. It is actually really weird because it would seem like a lot of pressure. But it just feels natural and normal.”In the same interview, Meghan was asked if there is “room for forgiveness” between her, her royal in-laws and her own family members.She replied: “I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I have really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.”
