Guardiola fires scary two-word warning after Man City beat Leicester

Pep Guardiola: The Man City head coach sent a warning to Arsenal (Image: BT Sport/Twitter)Pep Guardiola has sent a warning to title rivals Arsenal after declaring Kevin de Bruyne is back to his best form following the Manchester City star’s role in their 1-0 win over Leicester City. The Belgian playmaker scored the only goal of the game as the Premier League champions climbed to the summit of the table despite missing Erland Haaland through injury.De Bruyne made the difference with a stunning piece of individual quality in the 49th minute after Jack Grealish was fouled. The Belgian lined up his free-kick from some 25 yards out and whipped a perfectly-placed free-kick into the top corner, which bounced in off the woodwork leaving Danny Ward with no chance. It capped a fine overall performance from the 31-year-old, reaffirming his status as one of the Premier League’s best players, and Guardiola lavished praise on the playmaker after commenting on his improvement. When asked if it was a special performance, he replied: “Definitely. He’s back. He was not playing good the last games. He was amazing [today].”He knows it, he knows it. He’s a player we need the dynamic, how to be free, and the conditions… but it’s difficult.”We’ll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story. For the latest news and breaking news visit: express.co.uk/sport/footballStay up to date with all the big headlines, pictures, analysis, opinion and video on the stories that matter to you.Follow us on Twitter @dexpress_sport – the official Daily Express & Express.co.uk Twitter account – providing real news in real time. We’re also on Facebook @dailyexpresssport – offering your must-see news, features, videos and pictures throughout the day to like, comment and share from the Daily Express, Sunday Express and Express.co.uk.
