Greek wildfires: What are your rights if you are holidaying on islands at risk

Many Brits who are on the Greek islands, including Rhodes and Corfu, hit by wildfires and others who have trips planned, are seeking advice over their rights and The Mirror has answered questions here

Brits who have booked holidays for popular Greek island resorts have been hit by devastating wildfires and are wondering what their rights are if they have had to abandon the trip.

As Brits rush to escape the fire-ravaged island of Rhodes, emergency services fear more blazes could hit other Greek islands – including Crete.

Corfu was the second holiday hotspot to be hit by horrific wildfires at the weekend, but the fire service are preparing for the fires to spread.

The Corfu blaze prompted warnings to Brits staying at certain hotels not to travel. Locals in some areas battled the blaze themselves on Corfu as sea evacuations were carried out.
