Great Ormond Street staff learn 150 ways to express gender

Staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital (Gosh) were told that there were 150 ways to express gender and were pointed towards the controversial charity Mermaids, leaked documents reveal.

The London hospital, which is set to become one of the new child gender care centres following the closure of the Tavistock clinic, engaged Global Butterflies, a trans campaign group, to speak to workers.

Guides provided to hospital staff by the organisation and seen by The Times show that staff were told that people could self-identify in “over 150 ways and increasing”.
