Grantchester’s Robson Green addresses future as Geordie Keating after exit

Grantchester Trailer: Season 8 Grantchester star Robson Green has addressed his future as DI Geordie Keating after his co-star Tom Brittney confirmed his exit from the ITV series. Since Tom announced his departure as Reverend Will Davenport, fans have been left wondering whether Robson will follow suit. In a new interview, Robson discussed whether he has any plans of leaving any time soon. He told PBS: “If I ever leave Grantchester, I know I would miss it every hour of every day. “There’s been many jobs during my career where I’ve just clock-watched, I’ve calendar-watched but not with Grantchester.” Grantchester: Robson Green addressed his future on the show “It’s such a wonderful working environment and there is not one negative energy on set. Although, Tom [Brittney] can be a bit of a nightmare,” he joked. “If I ever have bad days, they’re immediately quashed by how lovely it is to be on the set.” It’s not the first time Robson has spoken about leaving Grantchester, admitting in a previous interview “You know when something is not right.” The actor explained said he knew when the time was right to leave his previous roles including Casualty, Soldier, Soldier and Wire in the Blood. I knew I had to leave all the series that I’ve done,” he said to Radio Times. “It’s when the writing falters. And once the writing falters, that’s the time to leave.
