Games leaving Xbox Game Pass include The Legend of Tianding, Shenzhen I/O, Trek To Yomi, and Eville, and they all exit the service on October 16, 2023
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now download the latest game in the Batman: Arkham lineage â 2022’s Gotham Knights â which is available today.
Microsoft hasn’t revealed the full Xbox Game Pass October 2023 list just yet, but the final game announced as a part of the Xbox Game Pass September 2023 lineup has arrived today. Gotham Knights is available now on Xbox Game Pass and is a new tale in the Batman universe developed by Arkham Origins’ WB Games Montreal. While not set in the Batman: Arkham universe, it plays like those games and features some of the same characters (basically, it’s a sequel in everything but name). You’ll be able to play as Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood throughout the campaign following the supposed death of Batman.
Gotham Knights features a two-player co-op campaign (not four like you would expect from a game starring four characters, but there is a side mode with four-player multiplayer), so Xbox Game Pass will make setting that up far easier. The Gotham Knights Xbox One version was cancelled, meaning this will only be available natively on Xbox Series X|S and PC â however, Xbox One users will be able to stream the game via Xbox Cloud Streaming.
Microsoft also confirmed which games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass later this month on Monday, October 16. Most notable from the list is Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, which is a story about an anthropomorphic Turnip who evades his taxes. As Turnip Boy you’ll adventure across the land in an attempt to take down the corrupt vegetable government, lead by Mayor Onion. The game takes heavy inspiration from The Legend of Zelda series and rougelite games such as Enter the Gungeon.
