'We heard screaming, the dog whimpering,' the neighbor, Steve Schor, told NBC New York. 'It sounds like someone was getting killed upstairs.' Schor added that it was not clear if cops made contact with anyone that day at the apartment building on New York Avenue by Avenue D in Brooklyn's East Flatbush neighborhood.
