The eight-year-old girl who died when a Land Rover drove into a school in Wimbledon, south-west London, yesterday has been named by police as Selena Lau.
In a statement, Selena’s family had been described her as an ‘an intelligent and cheeky girl adored and loved by everyone’.
She and her class at Study Preparatory school were holding an end-of-term picnic on the grounds when the car drove through on Thursday afternoon.
The London Ambulance Service said 16 people had been treated at the scene, with 10 taken to hospital.
