 An eight-year-old girl who fell to her death from a tower block balcony in Portsmouth has been pictured for the first time. Minnie Rae Dunn tragically died after falling from a high-rise apartment building in Wingfield Street on August 24. Emergency services rushed to the scene at Pickwick House at around 6.50pm but she could not be saved. A 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect following the incident and released on bail until November 24. Police say enquiries are still ongoing to establish what happened. In the wake of Minnie's death, a fundraiser was launched to help pay for a memorial bench in a 'special place for Minnie's siblings and family to go to remember her'. The youngster's family have also now paid tribute to a little girl with a 'big heart' and 'beautiful soul'. 'Your big bright smile that always melted my heart will be missed so much. I have a hole shape in my heart that will always be there. 'My little angel fly high, I love you to the moon and back. Mummy.' Minnie's grandmother Dot and grandfather Ian said in a joint message: 'Minnie had a big heart. Everybody loved her. 'She had lots of friends and had recently come back from a two week holiday which she loved and where she made lots of friends. 'Minnie liked singing and dancing and going on her trampoline and playing with her grandad who would run after her and make her laugh. 'Minnie was a savvy sensible child. We are going to miss you so much. Fly high our beautiful princess.'
