Gilgo Beach suspect’s file

The evidence documents submitted to the Suffolk County court today regarding the arrest and subsequent murder charge of suspect Rex Heuermann contain some horrifying, strange, and sickening statements put together by a task force investigating this 11-year-long saga

Rex Heuermann’s bail documents contain some horrifying details and evidence put together by authorities in the weeks leading up to his arrest and include his sickening searches for exploitative videos of minors, details on his wife’s whereabouts, and new evidence that helped police link this man to the three murders he is charged with.

Heuermann has been arrested and named the top suspect in Long Island’s long-unsolved infamous Gilgo Beach murders today and has pled not guilty – against a huge amount of claims in a bail documentation file by officials – who refused to let him be released ahead of a trial.

There are several important facts to know as this man goes on trial and as investigators attempt to link another death to him.

Heuermann is charged with three counts of murder in the first degree, a class A-I violent felony, in the deaths of Melissa Barthelemy in 2009; the death of Megan Waterman in 2010; and for the death of Amber Costello in 2010.
