 Geordie Shore star Grant Coulson has opened up about his blossoming romance with a man after 'hiding his real self.' The 31-year-old said he had slept with over 30 women while on MTV and other reality show and had a fling with Chloe Ferry to keep his sexuality a secret. After coming out as gay and meeting partner Scott, who he said he wants to marry one day, Grant described himself as 'finally happy.' He explained: 'I think now I just feel more comfortable with who I am. For years I hid the real me and now I am finally happy, I feel like everyone needs to know the real me. I feel like I have been hiding myself for such a long period of time, it just a bit of a weight lifted off my shoulders. 'I think I have known for years but more people are more open to it now. It's not the 1800s, no one's really bothered anymore.' Grant said he feared revealing his sexuality on Geordie Shore because he felt it 'would have ruined the opportunity' as it was cast with 'alpha male' heterosexual men. So I had to go along with that, it wasn't who I was but for so long I had to pretend to be that kind of thing. Grant said he was hospitalised, struggled with anxiety and stopped socialising for months because he was 'lying' and 'being a person I'm not' before coming out. He is now happily living with Scott, who he describes as 'the one', and their dog Hugo.
