Blonde beauty Gemma has been crowned the pizza chain's 'Head of Cheese' - making history as the first person to be appointed the role. Gemma still managed to maintain her high levels of glamour as she wore a full face of make-up for her new role. Her blonde locks were tied into a ponytail underneath her black cap for her shift on the counter of the brand's London store. Speaking of her brand new role, the GC said: "Listen darlings, there's no challenge The GC can't rise to, so when Papa Johns asked me to be their new Head of Cheese I was just dying to get a slice of the action. "I'm making sure their pizzas are totally OTT and fabulous, and giving all their lovely customers some extra cheesy service while I'm at it.' Gemma brought her own signature flare to proceedings as she was snapped preparing a variety of different pizzas. A spokesperson for the company insisted Gemma coming on board with the brand was a "milestone moment", saying: 'Gemma's decision to join our Papa Johns family as the Head of Cheese is a milestone moment for us." Gemma's new 'job' comes amid a worrying time for the star after her mother, Joan, was rushed to hospital. The reality star, 42, shared a picture of Joan, 67, with tubes coming out of her nose to help her breathe. Gemma told her followers: 'Such a scary moment when mum come to hospital.
