While Sally and Jon also covered hard news topics like the rise in inflation in the UK and the missile hitting Poland which killed two people, some BBC Breakfast viewers felt the show hadn't dedicated enough time to the serious matters of the day. Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "#BBCBreakfast when are you going to broadcast News rather than the endless light Magazine articles. "This is what the programs that follow are for. We have had football and charity today and little else. It's a joke." Another tweeted: "#bbcbreakfast so after 8am we get less 20 minutes of news today, so nothing important is happening. Nothing about Raab hosting PMQs whilst under the cloud of bullying allegations?" A third added: "15 minutes into the news and no mention of the rocket landing in Poland. Sport seems more important!!! #bbcbreakfast." Meanwhile a fourth raged: "What a pile of un-news s***e this last thirty minutes of #BBCBreakfast has been. All well and good for the viewers who can't cope with 'too much' news in the morning. "Don't put this c**p on the BBC's dedicated news channel then." Their complaints come a day after they moaned about Naga Munchetty's interview with former US First Lady Michelle Obama. During a quick fire round, Naga asked Michelle if she was an over or under lady when it came to how she put a roll on a holder, and Michelle revealed she was an over.
