 Sangria is the perfect summer drink; it's fruity, refreshing, and strong – but not overly sweet. And it seems a hybrid of this popular beverage is TikTok's latest obsession. In fact, the drink in question is a marriage of two summer staples – and, quite frankly, we can't believe it's only come about now. People on TikTok are going wild for an Aperol Spritz–sangria fusion – but to top it all off, they are whipping it up in a French Press. Home cook Ereka Vetrini is behind this genius creation and says in her video: 'The press forces the fruit flavors to infuse into the drink quicker.' Her summery beverage consists of four parts: chopping the fruit, mixing the liquids, chilling the cocktail and then pressing it. Ereka says to start by adding the chopped fruit and orange juice to the French Press, then fill half with prosecco and half with Aperol. After, simply stir, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours. Then to top it off, push down the press and pour out – serving with an orange as a garnish, as well as ice.
