Piers Morgan shared his support for Freddie Flintoff as the former England captain was pictured for the first time since he was injured in an accident while filming Top Gear
Piers Morgan expressed his happiness at seeing Freddie Flintoff with the England cricket team after the Top Gear host was injured in an horror car crash while filming the BBC show.
Freddie was injured in December at Top Gear’s test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey and was spotted on Friday with the England team during their one-day international with New Zealand at Cardiff.
Piers tweeted a picture of Freddie at Cardiff’s Sophia Gardens. He captioned the post: “Brilliant to see â¦Freddie @flintoff11 back with the England team today, after that horrendous Top Gear car smash.”
The former England cricketer and Top Gear host was flooded with support from fans as one tweeted: “Great to see him out and about amazing cricketer, presenter & bloke,” and another added: “Great to see Freddie out and about, nice touch for England to bring him in. Must have been mentally tough for someone like him to be doing nothing that length of time. Will be a great confidence boost for his ongoing recovery.”
