California Spangle won the race last year and victory was worth more than £1.6m - but will be even more this year after the prize fund was boosted. Dettori, who would be set for a huge payday well in advance of £100,000 should the horse win, said: "Marc is keen to have him in Hong Kong. "I've spoken to Marc and told him I'll definitely go for sure because he might have a couple of others from Australia. I've promised I'll go." Dettori has been busy planning for life after riding horses day in-day out. He and wife Catherine intend to go travelling - while renting out their stunning Newmarket mansion for £15,000 a month .
