Express Sport looks at four players United may look to sign if they’re able to offload Ronaldo in the New Year.It was reported earlier this month that United were keeping tabs on Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus have endured a difficult start to the campaign after surprisingly being knocked out of the Champions League group stages as well as disappointing results in Serie A.It was only at the start of the year when Juventus spent big money to beat Arsenal to the signature of Vlahovic. His goals helped Juventus secure a top-four finish after a disappointing campaign last year and he’s once again helping keep things alive this season.But if Juventus continue on this slump then they may find it tough to keep their best players and Vlahovic will be top of the list for clubs all over Europe. Still just 22 years of age, Vlahovic is regarded as one of the best young forwards in Europe and could lead the line at United for years to come.Moussa DembeleMoussa Dembele has long been linked with a return to the Premier League ever since leaving Fulham in 2016. He would also be the cheapest option by some margin with the striker out of contract with Lyon at the end of the season with negotiations stalling on a new deal.There was strong interest from United during the summer transfer window, but opted against a move with Ronaldo staying. But if United are in need of bringing in a cheap alternative during the January window, Dembele may be the best option out there.Jonathan DavidAnother Ligue 1 star who is attracting plenty of interest all over Europe is Lille star Jonathan David.
