Joe Biden has arrived in Britain for a whistlestop visit in which he will talks at Downing Street with Rishi Sunak on Monday morning.
However, the president’s visit is being overshadowed by a range of sticking points between the UK and the US and accusations he deliberately snubbed the Prime Minister on the eve of his arrival.

Britain has been pushing for Ukrainian membership of Nato to be fast-tracked, with indications from No 10 this week that Mr Sunak would press for a new charter to defend Ukraine in the face of future military aggression from Russia.
