Fortnite update 25.30 adds Jujutsu Kaisen skins and WWE wrestlers (Image: EPIC GAMES) Fortnite developer Epic Games has announced plans to release a brand new update on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Android. According to a social media post by Epic Games, Fortnite update 25.30 has an August 8 release date on all platforms. The major new update will launch alongside a period of server downtime, which kicks off in full at 9am BST UK time. Matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes beforehand, which means you won’t be able to join a new game after 8.30am. The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter, alongside a preview about what to expect from the big new download. “To break the curse, use the curse… Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to take over the Battle Royale Island,” reads an Epic tweet. “Downtime for v25.30 starts at 04:00 AM ET (08:00 UTC). Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before downtime.” As you can see from the tweet above, the update will be headlined by the arrival of skins and items from Jujutsu Kaisen. Judging by a recent Twitter post, the new Jujutsu Kaisen skins include Gojo Satoru, Kugisaki Nobara, Fushiburo Megumi and Itadori Yuuji. In addition to Jujutsu Kaisen skins and items, Epic Games is also expected to announce a crossover with WWE. If the rumours are to be believed, WWE Superstars Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will join Fortnite. Express Online will update this article with all the latest developments once the patch goes live.
