Former Tottenham Ikea store to be transformed into 15,000-capacity superclub

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A disused Ikea in the heart of Tottenham is set to take on a second life, as plans are in place to turn the enormous warehouse into a state-of-the-art superclub.

Entitled Drumsheds, the 608,000 sq ft venue will host ‘a carefully curated programme of music, arts, culture and community’, including dance music events, fashion shows, set builds and more.

Boasting a maximum capacity of 15,000, Drumsheds is set to become one of the largest indoor venues in the capital, eclipsing the likes of 10,250-capacity Alexandra Palace and 12,500-capacity Wembley Arena.

The project is the latest development from owners Broadwick Live, who operate number of other large-scale venues including London nightclub The Beams, Manchester’s Mayfield Depot and former superclub Printworks, which shut down earlier this year.
