Florence Pugh’s dad blames low traffic neighbourhood scheme for bar loss

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

The dad of Hollywood star Florence Pugh has criticised Oxford’s green policyfor killing off his businesses.

Clinton Pugh, designer and owner of Kazbar and Cafe Coco, blamed the closure of his third spot, Cafe Tarifa, on the low traffic neighbourhoods (LTN) scheme in East Oxford.

Located on the bohemian Cowley Road, the Spanish bar was often frequented by his daughter, who is known for roles in Midsommar, Little Women and Oppenheimer, before it was repossessed earlier this year.

Mr Pugh attributed the failure of his business ‘solely’ to the scheme introduced by Oxfordshire County Council as a trial in March 2021.
